Shayna Steele I'll Be Anything- soulchoonz Y2K Album Review by Barry Towler, UK
Shayna Steele I'll Be Anything - Sonicsoul.de, Germany
Translation by Katrin Schamm
Shayna Steele - the woman that can do everything when it comes to her voice. And she's got a voice and the ability to give her best with it. She's been on stages around the world, sang on Broadway, in intimate Jazz-Clubs, she's been the background voice of George Clinton or Oleta Adams and filled the dancefloors with the electro beats of a guy named Moby.
„I'll Be Anything“ is a great way for the lady to introduce herself in all her versatility but she's smart enough not to mix styles & sounds randomly.
>>Shay, I can't translate this next scentences b/c it's so weird - like shakespearish - written in German, you'd roll on the floor if you'd understood but it's all about the power of you vocal chords... in a positive way<<
Steele gives guidance with every note she sings and she's definately no jukebox that plays random songs. She's more like a modern Joan of Arc who uses her voice to lead a new direction. Everything is good as long as she sings it – Exactly.
